Brief description and research interest

I am interested in the regulation of hepatic gene expression by nutrients (such as vitamin A) and hormones (such as insulin) in health and disease models. The long term goal is to understand the molecular mechanisms of hepatic insulin resistance associated with obesity and Type 2 diabetes.
